How long does a renewal take to activate?
Most renewals are activated within 24 hours of us receiving your order and device serial number. You'll get an email confirmation as soon as it's live.
What happens if my licence has already expired?
You can still renew — an expired licence is simply reactivated from the date of purchase. Any functions that lapsed will return once the subscription is active again.
Should I choose a 1-year or 2-year term?
If you rely on the tool daily, the 2-year option works out cheaper per year and saves you a renewal admin cycle. For occasional use or a tool you may upgrade, the 1-year term keeps things flexible.
Do I need to send my device in?
No. Renewals are applied remotely using your device serial number — your tool stays in the workshop.
Can you renew multiple tools at once?
Absolutely. Workshops with several Topdon devices can renew them together in a single order — just list each model and serial number.
How is VAT applied to the prices?
VAT treatment is shown beside each price.
